6am on Tuesdays @ Village Cafe (630 Tenth Ave San Diego, CA 92101)

Tuesday morning just got a reason to get up.
Run Club & After Miles is your weekly reminder that the best way to start your day is with movement, fresh air and people who actually showed up too. We meet at MB Performance (630 Tenth Ave San Diego, CA 92101), run together for 3.5 miles and then do what every good run deserves, we sit down, catch our breath and grab coffee at Village Cafe.
This is community running. No pace requirements, no pressure, no one left behind. Whether you’re training for your next race or just trying to make 6am feel worth it, this group is built for you. The miles are the warm up. The conversation after is the whole point.
Downtown is our playground. Tuesday is our day. And the coffee? That’s just how we close it out right.
All levels welcome. Just show up, lace up and let the city wake up with you!
We run. We recover. We do it again next week!
Be Allways Ready hosts a weekly run club in San Diego that does something most run clubs skip — it keeps the community together after the miles are done. Our run club meets on Tuesday mornings, moves through a local route as a group, and then heads straight to a partner coffee shop to refuel and connect. This is not a run club where you finish, say good game, and go home alone.
A lot of people have tried a run club and found it intimidating — fast runners up front, everyone else scattered, no real community built. Our run club is different because we pace for the group, not the leaders. Whether you are running your first mile or your hundredth race, this run club has a place for you. We move at a pace that keeps people together, and the conversations that happen on the run are just as valuable as the miles you log.
After the run, the run club moves to our partner coffee spot for the “After Miles” portion of the morning. You get your coffee, you sit down, and you actually talk to the people you just ran with. This is the part of the run club that our community says keeps them coming back week after week.
Our run club draws adults in their 20s, 30s, and 40s who want consistent movement and real community. You do not need to be fast. You do not need to be an experienced runner. You need to want to show up, do the work, and connect with people who take their health seriously. Many of our run club regulars say they came for the fitness and stayed for the friendships.
Our run club meets weekly on Tuesday mornings. Routes are typically 3 to 5 miles depending on the group’s current fitness level and any upcoming events or races we are training toward. Coffee after is at our partner location — details shared with the run club community directly.
Check our upcoming wellness events to see the next run club date, or follow us on Instagram @allwaysreadyactive for real-time run club updates. If you are interested in becoming an After Miles partner for our run club, visit our partnership page.
Do I need to register for the run club? Registration is free and helps us plan the route size. Sign up through the event listing.
What pace does the run club run? We keep the run club inclusive. Most of our runs stay in a conversational pace range so everyone can participate.
Is coffee included? Coffee is purchased at the partner location — it is not included in the run club registration, but pricing at our partner spots is always fair.
